Buddha-Bar Hotel Prague

Buddha Bar is one of the most expensive hotels in Prague and I was very excited to see how good the world’s first Buddha-Bar Hotel could be.

I arrived to a welcome drink before I was escorted to the room. I stayed in a premier room and it was something special. A nice Asian Colonial interior design as indicated in the name Buddha. Many special elements which I highly appreciated as an experienced traveller. The speical designed free standing bathtub was definitely impressive. The room also had Bang&Olufsen Tv and from a design and prestige point of view you can’t get it any better. The bed was comfortable as well and is a point that is very important for me. The internet was complimentary and worked fine though my stay.

The facilities included a nice gym and spa and I was very impressive with the design thoughout the hotel. The hotel is a member of less known World Hotels, but haven’t received any other recognizion than a Condé Nast Hot list inclusion in 2009. They deserve more and I’m sure they will receivwe it over time.

Overall my favorite hotel in Prague. The service is a little better in Mandarin Oriental, but I love Buddaha Bar’s design and concept. It’s pricey, but highly recommended as a unique hotel experience.

My opinion: Great+ experience.
