Four Seasons Resort Sharm El Sheihk

After more than 30 Four Seasons experiences I know the brand very well and I can honestly say it’s the worlds most stable hotel brand. Ritz-Carlton, Fairmont, Kempinski and Mandarin Oriental have very weak properties in their portfolio, but Four Seasons don’t. Their stability is unique in this world and no matter where I am it feels like home to me.

I arrived in Sharm El Sheihk where the hotel picked me up in the airport with their hotel car. I arrived in the hotel and received a warm welcome and a drink before being escorted to the room. I stayed in a one bedroom suite and it was very nice, typical Four Seasons with a few Egyptian touches. I loved that it had the same comfortable bed as the other Four Seasons and I honestly think it’s the best bed in the world. The internet is chargeable, but was quite slow during my stay. If you charge for internet at least it needs to be fast.

The most important thing is the service and that is the main reason for Four Seasons stability. Sharm El Sheihk didn’t disappoint. Well trained staff and professional service in all areas of the hotel. Not the best I’ve seen from Four Seasons, but definitely up to the standards. I liked the small tram that takes people from the lobby area to the beach. It’s a unique service and idea I haven’t seen in any other hotel. The other facilities were up to a great standard as well and their spa was very beautiful. The resort is a little to big after my preference, but it’s a quite normal Four Seasons size.

Overall another great Four Seasons experience. It’s a lovely brand I admire for their stability and it’s my surely my favorite chain in the world as Relais&Chateaux is a collection. I’m pretty sure this is the best hotel in Egypt, however it’s very close between this and the Oberoi in Hurghada.

My opinion: Great+ experience.
