Four Seasons Resort Vail

After many great experiences with Four Seasons in the past I was excited to explore their latest property. A resort in a little town in Colorado, Vail. I arrived with car from Park Hyatt Beaver Creek and had a fantastic arrival experience. I was greeted by the general manager and after a talk the front office manager escorted me to the suite. I stayed in a Mountain View Executive Suite and it must be one of my favorite suites so far. It was unique in many ways. It had two fireplaces, two balconies, two flatscreen Tv and a Tv in the mirror of the bathroom. Furthermore it had the fantastic Four Seasons bed and a great contemporary design. The bathroom had the usual L’Orricatane ammenities in the bathroom and a Tv in the mirror.

The facilities were great as well. A beautiful designed spa with extremly nice staff to take care of you. The heated outdoor pool is another cool feature and they service hot chocolate and brownies. A different experience. The service is always the most important thing and with only 121 rooms I had expectations of personalized service. It was. I stayed in low season and the occupancy was less than 50%. Some Four Seasons feels too big and nobody know who I am. Vail is not like that. It’s great personalized experience by extremly helpful and well trained staff.

Overall a fantastic experience. Personalized service, great rooms and excellent facilities. This is a new favorite. If you don’t ski it’s excellent value to stay in low season where the rates is many times lower than in high season.

My opinion: Fantastic experience.
