Hotel Arts Barcelona

Finding the best hotel in Barcelona can be a challenge. Hotel Arts Barcelona is part of Ritz-Carlton and is the most expensive hotel in Barcelona despite the fact of having 483 rooms. I arrived in the evening and received a warm welcome from the German receptionist Sohpia. After a small talk, I was right after escorted to the room. Finding the best hotel in Barcelona can be a challenge. Hotel Arts Barcelona is part of Ritz-Carlton and is the most expensive hotel in Barcelona despite the fact of having over 483 rooms. I arrived in the evening and received a warm welcome from the German receptionist Sohpia. After a small talk, I was right after escorted to the room. I stayed in a beautiful Deluxe Room which is the main room category in Hotel Arts. 365 of the 483 are Deluxe Rooms.

The rooms are very spacious and beautiful designed. Definitely one of the best rooms I’ve stayed in a Ritz-Carlton hotel. Welcome amenities, handwritten welcome card and a Bang & Olufsen Tv was the highlight. The bathroom had separate shower from the bathtub and great Acqua di Palma which is a lovely high-end product. The location is good, but you can’t explore Barcelona on foot. The metro is less than 5 minutes walk from the hotel if you want to explore Barcelona. The service can’t be persoalized when having 483 rooms, but it was very professional with well-trained staff. Lots of foreigners as expected in an international 5 star hotel.

The facilities included a wonderful Six Senses Spa, fitness centre and 5 star business facilities as expected in a Ritz-Carlton hotel. Hotel Arts is true to it’s name as arts can be found though the hotel, including a lot of antiq in the lobby. To sum up, it’s a very big hotel, but it really works. Professional service and well-managed.

My opinion: Great experience.
