The Executive Suite is located on the 9th floor, where you also will find the Executive Lounge. The Executive Lounge is open from 7 in the morning to 7 in the evening. It’s the first lounge I’ve been tó that close this early. It’s a nice lounge though which serves drinks and great snacks during the day. The Executive Suite is approximately 70 square metres with separate living and bedroom, two flat screen Tv’s, two toilets, a nice designed bathtub and a beautiful sea view. I was satisfied with the room while it’s very far from the best I’ve stayed in.
The service in the hotel is one the same level as I’ve experienced in Marriott and Hilton business hotels, nothing special, but they take good care of their Platinum guests. Welcome gift and red wine in the room on the first nice was great. The facilities in this hotel is good. There is both an outdoor and indoor pool, and the gym had really good facilities. The most disappointing thing about the hotel is the elevators. They are unacceptable slow, and I always took the stairs because of it. The food is good without being great. Breakfast and room service is good while the dinner buffet could improve.
Overall it’s up to the standards you will find in most Hilton, Marriott, Sheraton and Le Meridien business hotels. It’s not special in any way and you of course can’t compare it with the best hotels in the world. The main reason for that is probably the price. The value is great for what you get, and I can highly recommend this hotel as a great choice in Malta.
My opinion: Good experience.
