Sheraton Imperial Kuala Lumpur

Luxury Collection is Starwood’s mixed collection of independent luxury hotels and their Sheraton hotels. Sheraton is a brand with very variable quality, and you have to judge each property as some are bad, and some are truly luxurious. One of them is Sheraton Imperial in Kuala Lumpur. Membership of the Luxury Collection combined with great Tripadvisor reviews made it a hotel worth to check out.

I arrived at the hotel and was directly escorted to the deluxe suite where the duty manager did the check in. The suite was the best I’ve seen from Sheraton so far and specious and luxurious. The bed was very comfortable, and the design was very classical like the other Luxury Collection hotels I’ve stayed. A welcome regard was on the screen when I entered together with fruits and strawberries with chocolates.

The internet is free for Platinum members and was very fast throughout my stay. The service was really good and attentive everywhere I went in the hotel, and it’s for sure one of the best Sheraton hotels in the world. The facilities is good as well, and overall I was very surprised with the quality of this hotel. It was not far from the experience I’ve had in the weakest Four Seasons I’ve stayed and that says a lot. The value can’t be beaten either, and it’s for sure way better than Ritz-Carlton where I previously stayed, although Mandarin Oriental remains my favourite Kuala Lumpur hotel.

My opinion: Great experience.
