I stayed in one of their recently renovated suites with a colonial feel to it. White design all around. My only complain about the room would be that the bed could be more comfortable and that the noise level can be too high at times. The service was good enough for SLH, but not good enough for The Leading Hotels of the World. The food is very expensive, but good and probably worth it if you compare with other of The Caribbean’s top resorts. The facilities were good, but with a relatively small gym and swimming pool.
The Caribbean is probably my least favorite area of the world because of the service level, but The Sandpiper was good in many areas and can be highly recommended for a great hotel experience in Barbados.
My opinion: Good+ experience.
