The St. Regis Beijing

St. Regis is one of my favourite hotel brands, and I like their classical concept and butler service in every hotel. St. Regis Bejing was included in the last seven years Gold List of Condé Nast Traveller, and it’s well deserved. I arrived at the hotel and they immediately escorted me to my suite for check-in registration and to meet my butler.

The Butler had an acceptable level of English and was a great help during my stay. I requested an upgrade to the highest possible category before arrival and because of my SPG Platinum status, I was lucky to be upgraded to the second highest category. The Ambassador Suite. The suite was fantastic. It had a lot of classical møbler, two toilets, very deep bath tub, two huge Tvs and a Tv within the mirror of the bathroom. Excellent feature. The bed was very comfortable, and the internet worked brilliantly.

Like in St. Regis Shanghai, this St. Regis also have an Italian restaurant named Daniele’s and with the same concept. Very affordable lunch menu to bring people back for dinner. I went there once for lunch, and it’s as good as in Shanghai. Excellent food and good service. The service, in general, exceeded my expectations; the butler did a great job, and the service was at the same level as St. Regis in Shanghai. The facilities is very good, but swimming pool and spa is in a separate building, but only one minute walk from the hotels own building. Overall a great St. Regis experience, it could easily be the most stable hotel brand in the world.

My opinion: Great experience.
