Quebec is a wonderful historical city which I really enjoyed. It’s walkable and with super friendly people. Finding the best hotel can be a challenge though. It depends on your personal preference. Fairmont is a very historical hotel, but with over 600 rooms you just feel like a number. The complete opposite experience can be found in Le Germain-Dominion. It’s been voted one of the 100 best hotels in the world by the readers of Condé Nast Traveller and I was excited to check it out. I arrived to a nice welcome and after a short stay I was on the way to my room. The hotel don’t have suites and is in general a very intimate hotel with only 60 rooms. Overall a very nice experience to the portfolio. The general manager told me that we can’t compete with brands like Four Seasons and Aman Resorts and he is right about that. The service and facilities is good, but nothing special. It’s overrated in the Condé Nast Travelers best hotels in the world, but people is extremly happy with the value and that makes a difference in the satisfaction.
