Hotel Raphäel is a member of Relais & Châteaux with 50 rooms and a beautiful location in a quiet street in Rome. My experience started with a quick check in before being escorted to the room. I stayed in a great renovated Junior Suite with a nice bed, welcome amenities, working desk, separate shower from the bathtub in the bathroom and overall a good feel of Rome. The bathroom also had Bulgari amenities which is an expensive high end product I really like. Complimentary internet is also provided for all guests as you would expect. The service was good, it really makes a difference for a city hotel only being 50 rooms and at the same time still have several staff at the front desk.
Being a Relais & Châteaux means the food must be very good and Hotel Raphäel didn’t disappoint. The restaurant don’t have a Michelin star and don’t deserve one, but the food was up to the standards of Relais & Châteaux. The breakfast was also very good and I Hotel Rapháel delivers a nice little experience in Rome and deserves to be rated great in this collection.
My opinion: Great experience.
