Lily Beach is a 5-star all inclusive resort in The Maldives which really impressed me as I normally find All-Inclusive concepts to lack quality, but not at Lily Beach.
My experience started with the arrival by seaplane and received a warm welcome from the kind staff. A drink and cold towel was offered before I was given an introduction about the concept. Right after I was escorted to my room. I stayed in a Beach Villa which was quite small compared to other Beach Villas, but with high standards. Located just a few steps from the beautiful beach, this beach villa has outdoor jacuzzi and rainshower as the highlights. The bedroom is quite small, but with comfortable bed and great complimentary wifi connection.
Lily Beach is quite big with it’s 119 villas, but it’s spread out and doesn’t feel so big. The All-Inclusive concept for all guests is unlike most Maldivian resorts and it’s really lovely you can drink whenever and whatever you want. I found the service at Lily Beach to be very good, but not perfect and surely things to improve. Service on the phone was slow, but in the restaurants it was fast and attentive. The food at Lily Beach exceeded my expectations as All-Inclusive concept normally lack quality, but Lily Beach had high quality food. Both ala carte and buffets impressed me and it was wonderful to see.
There are lots of activites and facilities around like in any Maldivian resorts and two weeks here won’t be boring. I had a truly great one night stay and Lily Beach is not that far from The Maldives best and they definitely have the best concept.
My opinion: Great+ experience.
