No.1 Pery Square Hotel & Spa was included in Condé Nast Traveler’s Hot List as one of the best new places to stay 2 years ago. That was my main reason for selecting it as my hotel in Limerick and the fact there is no other recognized hotels in the town.
No.1 Pery Square is located less than 5 minutes walk from the bus station where I arrived from Cork. I was immidiately escorted to the room. I stayed in a standard room which was very antiq and comfortable. Separate shower from the bathtub was a nice touch as well as the great Mulvenna products I never had tried before. The facilities included a spa in the basement and that was about it. It’s a very small and intimate hotel. The service level was overall fine, but keep in mind a lot of foreigners works in the hotel and it doesn’t feel very Irish. The breakfast was very good with great ala-carte choices as well as a buffet.
Overall a very nice experience to the portfolio. It has it’s own style and character and gave me an impression. The place to stay in Limerick and I’m happy they have a hotel of this level.
My opinion: Good experience.
