My arrival experience wasn’t good where I had to wait because the only receptionist was on the phone, kept talking and kept me waiting for over 2 minutes.
I stayed in a standard room which had the classical design and a great bathroom. Fantastic Croatian bathroom amenities called Aetrum, a nicely design bathtub and separate shower next to it. Besides that the room was nothing special. The Tv was old, but will be replaced soon. I wish they would also replace the beds as they were hard and something I personally don’t like. The worst thing was the noise level in the room. Terrible at night and made it hard to sleep. You can easily hear when people are talking on the floor or in the room next to you.
What makes Pucic Palace special is the history, location and classical design and that is what you pay for. The room and service is nothing special compared to great hotels around the world. The staff is kind, but a better English level is needed among several staffs.
I had to leave early in the morning for my bus to Sarajevo and asked for 2 oranges and 2 bananas, the bananas was old and inedible. Unacceptable ending to an otherwise good experience.
