Introduction: Rising 51 storeys above the streets, the Radisson Royal Hotel Dubai immediately catches the eye with its striking metal and glass exterior. The hotel’s location near the bus and metro stations as well as the international airport makes moving throughout the city easy, while its proximity to the Dubai International Financial Centre and Dubai World Trade Centre benefits business travellers.
The rooms showcase a wide range of amenities and a clean, modern style accented with vibrant bursts of colour. The on-site restaurants serve a variety of world cuisines, while the bars and nightclub provide places to unwind after a day in Dubai. The Radisson Royal Hotel Dubai also features an expansive outdoor pool area, a health club, shuttle service, meeting rooms, and Spa Zen, which offers a range of treatments for wellness and relaxation.
Above information is how the hotel presents itself on their website.
Below is my experience based on a one-night stay at the property.
My Arrival experience: Fast check-in before being escorted to the room.
What I loved: The location and views.
What about the service: Professional well-trained front-desk. Did not experience other areas of the hotel during my short stay.
What about the rooms: A bit different from Radisson Blu hotels, but at same quality. Bathrooms have separate rainshower from the bathtub with a beautiful view of Dubai. I had a issue with passive smoke at this hotel. Keep in mind most rooms are smoking rooms and I would much rather stay at the smoke-free Radisson Blu Residence Marina as a non-smoker.
Number of rooms: 471.
Type of property: City hotel.
Facilities: Swimming pool, spa, gym and business/meeting facilities.
Complimentary internet: Yes.
My overall impression: Good+ experience.
