Introduction: Nestled on a prime stretch of soft white sand on the northern tip of Phi Phi Don Island, Zeavola Hotel offers a broad selection of suites in beautiful teakwood villas, authentic Thai and international cuisine and a PADI diving centre, all overlooking the Andaman Sea.
The warm shades of teak in each suite at Zeavola Hotel create the feeling of an elegant cocoon that overlooks the sea or your own private garden. Choose a Pool Villa Suites for a private pool and attractive hand-painted murals. Wander the ten acres of tropical gardens to take in this sun-kissed Garden of Eden.
Sunbathe by the pool and then wander to Zeavola spa for a Sun Soother Body Wrap to rehydrate your skin. Go diving and swim through canyons and caves and see Leopard Sharks dozing in the sand, seahorses, ghost pipefish and soft coral pinnacles in every imaginable colour.

Below is my experience based on a one-night stay at the property.
My arrival experience: Warm welcome with a drink and cold towel before being escorted to the villa.
What I loved: The beach and the quiet location. It’s not a private island resort like the Maldives, but it is very quiet which is unusual for Thailand.
What about the food: The food is not Relais & Châteaux level, but up to a standard you would expect from a SLH-property. I can recommend the Tom Yum Goong soup with fresh prawns.
What about the service: Almost all the staff impressed me with a kind attitude and a smile on their face. True Thai hospitality and overall lovely. The attention to details are not like in a Four Seasons resort, but you can’t expect that for the price. Great value in the summer and certainly worthy of its SLH service.
What about the rooms: Lovely rooms. My pool villa had indoor- and outdoor shower. Outdoor sink in an interesting design. The bed could be a bit more soft, but was comfortable. Internet complimentary and strong enough for programs like Skype and sites like YouTube. A big plus in a remote island destination like the Phi Phi Islands.
